For the third time in the last two days, the Pilots will match up against the Tri-City Chili Peppers.

Walker Fuller (Barton) will start tonight, making his second appearance for the Pilots. Fuller is a true freshman from Barton University who threw 22 innings in his first year at school. In his only appearance this season, he went 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out five.

The Pilots ended up splitting yesterday’s doubleheader with Tri-City. The first game was a high-scoring, comeback victory, with the Pilots erasing a 6-1 deficit and coming back to win 8-7.

Yesterday’s highlight was Hunter Cole’s grand slam in the sixth inning to tie the game. The Pilots hit three home runs in the first game, with Hunter Cole, Ethan Ott, and Mason Dunaway all getting one in the sixth inning or later.

Looking to keep their postseason hopes alive, the Pilots must win tonight.
