The Pilots shut out the Martinsville Mustangs tonight, taking a 3-0 win. Pitching has been spectacular for the Pilots, as they have recorded a shutout in the back-to-back games.

Sam Rochard (Tennessee Wesleyan) got the start for the Pilots. Rochard went four innings, giving up () hits and no runs. The bullpen picked up where he left off, as Brayden Martino (Hunter Junior College), Trey Morgan (VMI), and Jay Scheuler (Southeastern University) all pitched scoreless innings in relief. Brayden Martino recorded the win for the Pilots, and Scheuler earned the save.

Solo home runs hit by Marc Cisco (Queens College) and Mason Dunaway (James Madison) scored two of the three runs by the Pilots tonight.

The third run was scored in the eighth inning on a sacrifice fly by Hunter Cole (Randolph Macon).

Henry Garcia (Howard College) led the Pilots in hits, going 2-4 with a run scored. 

The Pilots are back at home tomorrow for their first matchup against the Wilmington Sharks.
