The Pilots face the Morehead City Marlins tonight in a rematch from last night. They’ll look for a different result, however, as they lost last night’s game 9-4.

The Pilots are still hanging on to the number one spot in the second half, but this game is extremely important. Morehead City is 8-5 and looking to battle for the top spot in the east.

CPL All-Star Dalton Barham (Norfolk State) will be on the mound for the Pilots tonight. The lefty has been one of the best pitchers on the Pilots’ roster this season, sporting a 2.17 ERA over 29.0 innings. His last outing was against the Martinsville Mustangs on July 15th where he threw 4.1 hitless innings, striking out six and earning CPL Pitcher of the Night.

Barham looks to right the ship for the Pilots tonight at 7 PM.
