The Pilots are on the road tonight, playing the Tri-City Chili Peppers for the second straight night. In yesterday’s game, the Pilots won 11-6, scoring six of their runs in the seventh inning. Mason Dunaway (James Madison) was the star of the night, going 5-5 with five singles, earning the CPL Hitter of the Night.

Yesterday marked the tenth matchup between these two teams on the season, and there’s much more to come. In the next five days, there will be four matchups between these two teams with a double-header coming on Sunday, July 16th. In their ten matchups, Tri-City has a slight edge, winning six of them.

CPL All-Star Michael Caldon (Felician University) will be on the mound for the Pilots tonight. Caldon has been one of the best pitchers out of the bullpen this season, earning a 2.45 ERA over ten appearances.
