The Pilots are back at home tonight to face the Morehead City Marlins at 7 PM. These two teams faced off two days ago on June 20th, where the Marlins took a 13-6 win. The Pilots started off strong with six runs in four innings but weren’t able to score past then.
Sam Rochard (Tennessee Wesleyan) will get the start for the Pilots tonight. The right-hander has yet to start a game but has had four outings in relief. He has gone for three innings in three of four of those outings, which shows that he can pitch in length. Over his four relief appearances, he has a 2.61 ERA with an outstanding 15/2 strikeout/walk ratio.
The Pilots look to win the rematch from Sunday.
