The Pilots are on the road tonight, facing off against the Morehead City Marlins, who are known today as the Motorboaters. The last time these two teams played was on June 5th, where the Marlins won the game 9-2. Against this opponent, the Pilots are 0-2 with a -11 run differential. 

The Pilots won their game yesterday in walk-off fashion, as Trey Morgan (VMI) walked with the bases loaded in extra innings to win the game 5-4. Coming off of a win, the Pilots look to carry the momentum into tonight. 

Jay Schuler will be on the mound for the Pilots tonight. In his only outing of the season, he pitched well, giving up only one earned run over four innings pitched. Control hurt him, walking four batters and striking out four. 

The Pilots look to make it two in a row tonight.
