The Pilots are back at home tonight, facing their main rival, the Tri-City Chili Peppers. These two have had eleven matchups throughout the season, so they know each other well. In those eleven matchups, the Chili Peppers have a slight edge, winning seven of them.

Tri-City easily won the last matchup between these two teams, cruising to an 11-2 win at War Memorial Stadium.

Dalton Barham (Norfolk State) won CPL Pitcher of the Night, tossing 4.1 perfect innings in relief, striking out six. The Pilots have been hot over the past two games, outsourcing their opponents 16-4 en route to two victories.
