The Pilots are back home tonight, facing the Wilson Tobs. On the season, the Pilots have won two of five matchups between them. In their last matchup, the Tobs got the best of them, cruising to an 8-3 victory.
Last night’s game was a game to forget for the Pilots, falling to the Chili Peppers 11-2. Mistakes riddled them throughout the game, giving up eleven free passes to Tri-City batters. The Chili Pepper bats were also hot, recording eleven hits on the night.
Pilots’ ace Brian Ereu (Univ. of Science and Art) will be on the mound tonight, hoping to have a bounceback performance for the pitching staff. Ereu has the most starts for the Pilots this season, making his eighth start of the season. In his seven starts, he has a 4.21 ERA with 27 strikeouts and five walks.
The Pilots hope to get back in the win column tonight at 7 PM.
