The Pilots take on the Wilson Tobbs at home tonight at 7 PM. Entering this game 24 hours removed from their first win and will try to carry the momentum into this game.
The Pilots kept their bats hot in their game yesterday against the Tri-City Chili Peppers, but this time it turned into run production. On ten hits, the Pilots were able to plate nine runs, thanks to three-hit games from Justin Starke (VMI) and Zac Morris (VMI). Justin Starke was able to earn CPL Hitter of the Night honors after his 3-4 day with two doubles and a home run that ultimately won the Pilots the game.
Dalton Barham (Norfolk State) will toe the rubber for the Pilots tonight. Barham has only pitched once this season, where he threw one inning of relief work in the June 4th matchup against Tri-City. Barham gave up only one unearned run in this outing.
The Pilots look to keep the wins coming tonight at 7 PM.
