The Pilots return from their three-day break tonight to face the Tri-City Chili Peppers at 7 PM. These teams have had several matchups on the season, as tonight will be their tenth of the year. Over their nine matchups, the Pilots are 3-6.
Their last matchup was on June 29th, when the Pilots won the second game of the double-header 1-0. Michael Caldon (Felician University) got the start and the win for the Pilots, pitching three innings and striking out seven. Marc Cisco (Queens College) got the only RBI of the game, hitting a single to score Cole Stanford (Lenoir Rhyne) in the third inning.
Tod Mozoki (James Madison) will get the ball for the Pilots tonight, making his second of the season. Mozoki is normally a guy out of the bullpen, but he has shown his longevity, going 3+ innings in three of his appearances.
In their last game before the break, the Pilots lost 8-3 against the Tobs on the road, ending their impressive six-game winning streak. However, tonight could be the start of a new win streak.
