The Pilots are back home to face the Wilmington Sharks for their second matchup of the season.
Their only matchup came on July 1st, when the Pilots got on top early and never looked back, winning 8-2 behind a stellar performance by third baseman Chris Martinez (Univ. of Science and Art). The righty went 3-4 with six RBIs and two home runs, easily earning CPL Hitter of the Night.
Last night, we saw a similar performance from Mason Dunaway (James Madison). The shortstop went 3-5 with six RBIs and a home run, increasing his batting average to .400.
Brian Ereu (Univ. of Science and Art) made his tenth start of the season last night, and it was one of his best. The ace went six innings, giving up one earned run, four hits, and striking out five.
The Pilots will look to take their fourth straight tonight at 7 PM.
