Freshman Year (2008): Named to the All-CAA Rookie Team … Led the Tribe in wins with a 6-2 record and tied for the team lead with 24 appearances … Team leader in ERA with a 4.71 mark … Tied for sixth in most runners picked off in a single season in school history with four … Made six starts on the year … Went eight and two-thirds innings against James Madison in an 8-2 victory, allowing only two runs on six hits to go along with four strikeouts (May 1) … Earned his first career win in his first appearance of the season against Buffalo (February 20) … Threw one-and-a-third scoreless innings against Princeton in a 10-9 victory (March 7) … Earned his first win as a starter against George Washington after allowing three runs on six hits in five innings (March 10) … Went six and two thirds innings in a 7-6 victory over George Mason (March 29) … Threw three scoreless innings in the 14-10 victory over Virginia Tech (April 21) …
