Biography:
2009 (Summer): Robbins will be returning to the Pilots for the second summer. Last summer he made 42 starts and was third for stolen bases. Last year, Robbins hit a two-run home run against Fayetteville in the 8th inning to secure a victory for the Pilots.
2009 (Freshman): Played in 24 games for the Hilltoppers in 2009, making 11 starts… Swiped four bases in four attempts in his rookie campaign… Logged most of his innings in the field in the middle infield… Made a start at second base in a midweek contest at Lipscomb on April 29 and went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in the contest, earning him a start in each game of the UALR series that weekend… Had a season-high three hits the very next game against the Trojans on May 1, driving in two more.
Apollo High School: Batted .325 with nine doubles, two triples, six home runs and 24 RBI in his senior season for the Eagles... Scored 47 runs and posted a .403 on-base percentage after drawing 22 walks and getting hit a team-high 13 times... Stole 42 bases... Named all-district and all-region after the season.
Personal: Logan Robbins is the son of Scott and Kym Robbins... He is majoring in Exercise Science. |
